Susana Melendez, LMT

Susana is a Licensed Massage Therapist whose verve for prevention and healing led to her to pursuing bodywork. With a background as a dancer and performer, she brings an intuitive understanding how repetitive movement, chronic tension, and injury create strain on both body and mind. Her approach is evidence-based and individualized, while promoting a parasympathetic state. She loves incorporating a range of Eastern and Western modalities which include Swedish Massage, Medical Massage, Shiatsu, Myofascial Release, Acupressure, and Lymphatic Drainage. She also has trained in trauma-informed care, bringing a grounded, safety-conscious presence to every session. A native New Yorker, Susana draws inspiration from the arts, sound healing, and the neuroscience of the body's innate capacity to heal.
